Welcome to the website of Rib Cookoff Association, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, contest registration services, and any related purchases (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our website, registering for a contest, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

By registering for a contest or otherwise using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Some contests may have additional eligibility requirements, which will be posted with the specific contest details.

3. Contest Registration

3.1 Registration Process. To participate in a rib cookoff contest hosted or sanctioned by Rib Cookoff Association, LLC, you must complete the registration process on our website, including providing accurate and current information such as your name, contact information, and phone number.

3.2 Contest Rules. Each contest may have its own specific rules, entry fees, judging criteria, and prizes, which will be published on our website or provided at the time of registration. By registering, you agree to abide by those rules in addition to these Terms.

3.3 Accuracy of Information. You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date. Rib Cookoff Association, LLC is not responsible for any issues arising from inaccurate or outdated information you provide.

3.4 Right to Refuse or Cancel. Rib Cookoff Association, LLC reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or disqualify any registration at its sole discretion, including for violation of contest rules, these Terms, or applicable law.

4. Purchases and Payment

4.1 Fees. Certain services, such as contest entry fees or merchandise, may require payment. All fees will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase.

4.2 Payment Processing. Payments made through our website are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card information. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms and privacy policy of the applicable payment processor.

4.3 Refunds. Except as otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by law, all fees and purchases are non-refundable. Contest-specific refund policies, if any, will be posted with the applicable contest details.

4.4 Receipts. If you make a purchase, you may receive a receipt via text message and/or email, as described in Section 5 below.

5. Text Messaging (SMS) Terms

By providing your phone number during contest registration, you consent to receive a one-time SMS message from Rib Cookoff Association, LLC confirming your registration, sent from (405) 588-1958. If you make a purchase, you may also receive a text message with your receipt from this same number.

Rib Cookoff Association, LLC does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan. Message frequency is limited to registration confirmations and, where applicable, purchase receipts.

To stop receiving text messages from us at any time, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, or for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

6. User Conduct

When using our Services, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation.

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or servers.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of our website or related systems.

  • Use the Services for any purpose other than participating in or supporting a rib cookoff contest.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and the Rib Cookoff Association, LLC name and branding, is the property of Rib Cookoff Association, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Rib Cookoff Association, LLC does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rib Cookoff Association, LLC, its owners, members, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
