🔥 Wagoner Lion’s Club Labor Day Burn 🔥
Join us September 4–5, 2026, at Sequoyah Bay State Park in Wagoner, Oklahoma, for a full weekend of BBQ, competition, community, and family fun!
The event features $16,750 in total payouts, including a double rib contest with Rib A and Rib B both featuring St. Louis Style ribs.
Friday Schedule
Contestants may arrive beginning at 8:00 AM and throughout the day.
3:00 PM – Cooks Meeting
4:00 PM – Kids Q Meeting
4:30 PM – Judges Meeting
5:30 PM – Kids Q Turn-In
6:30 PM – BYO Ribeye Steak Turn-In
7:30 PM – Awards
Friday activities include the Kids Q Best Burger Bite Contest and the BYO Ribeye Steak Ancillary Contest.
Saturday afternoon features Double St. Louis Style rib contests:
Rib A – St. Louis Style: 2:00–2:30 PM
Rib B – St. Louis Style: 3:00–3:30 PM
Awards: 4:30 PM or sooner
Entry fees are $150 per rib category or $250 for both. Each rib category pays through 10th place, with $1,500 awarded to first place in each category.
Saturday Car Show
The Saturday morning Car Show runs from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Registration: 8:00–9:15 AM
Judging: 9:30–11:30 AM
Awards: 11:30 AM
Come enjoy “Ribs on the Grill, Muscle on Wheels!”
People’s Choice Ancillary
The People’s Choice Ancillary Contest will take place Saturday from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
Each team will receive one pork butt. Additional pork butts will be available at wholesale pricing through the local butcher, Meats N’ More.
Kids Fishing Derby
The Kids Fishing Derby will be held Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is sponsored by Sequoyah State Park.
