Goin for Broke in the PNW

Goin' for Broke in the PNW set to take place on August 2, 2025, at 14925 NE Caples Road, Brush Prairie, WA 98606.

The event is sponsored by Smokin' Iron Fabrication and Prairie Tavern. The entry fee for the ribs is $125.

Payouts for the event are as follows:

1st Place: $400 + Trophy
2nd Place: $200 + Trophy
3rd Place: $200 + Trophy
4th Place: $150 + Certificate
5th Place: $150 + Certificate
6th-10th Place: $125 + Certificate

The timeline for the event is:

Friday, August 1: Participants can move in after 4:00 PM, with a cooks meeting at 8:00 PM following the Outlaw BBQ cooks meeting.

Saturday, August 2: Judges meeting at 3:00 PM, baby back rib turn-in at 4:00 PM, and the awards ceremony at 6:00 PM.
